Ballet student Suzy Bannian arrives at a prestigious German dance academy, but soon finds that the school seems to be plagued by gruesome and supernatural happenings, where students begin to die in horrific circumstances. Directed by Italian horror master Dario Argento, soundtracked by prog rock band Goblin, and characterised by its vibrant splashes of colour, Suspiria combines dazzling aesthetics with the grisly kills of the giallo horror sub-genre.
