A group of teenagers are found dead after watching a cursed videotape, the contents of which causes anyone who views it to die within a week, or so the urban legend goes… In the late ‘90s, director Hideo Nakata unleashed a chilling tale of technological terror, which redefined the genre and launched the J-horror boom in the West. The film spawned a slew of remakes, reimaginings and imitators but none could quite boast the power of the Japanese original.
