Rafiki

Much oppose Kena and Ziki in life: one is a tomboy and the other a rainbow-haired free spirit, and their respective fathers are political opponents running for a local election in their conservative Nairobi neighbourhood. But opposites often attract and soon their friendship grows into romance – forcing them into a conflict between their relationship and community acceptance. Temporarily banned in Kenya for its lesbian theme, RAFIKI is a candy-coloured and touching film about impossible love.
