Queer Up Duck! Festival: Out Laws + Q&A

Presented as part of Queer Up Duck! Festival 2026

Out Laws follows three queer activists challenging the laws that criminalise them. From the UK to Namibia, the film reveals how colonial rule entrenched homophobia around the world. Amid rising murders, court battles, church-led backlash and coordinated disinformation campaigns, Out Laws captures a global movement fighting not only for justice, but for survival.

We’re delighted to welcome Out Laws filmmakers James Lewis, Lexi Powner and Neal Henson who will take part in a post-screening Q&A, hosted by Sam Harvey from Nottingham Pastel Project.
