Community Bookings and Gallery Coordinator

Hours: 15 hours a week (0.4 FTE / two days) - hours may be spread over three or four days by agreement

Salary: £27,000 per annum full-time equivalent; £10,800 pro rata.

Fixed Term until 31 July 2028

With generous funding support from the National Lottery Community Fund, this is an exciting opportunity to join our flourishing conferencing and events function, and help strengthen our community hire offer, extending our reach and impact within the City; and cementing Broadway’s position as a community hub within the Hockley area of Nottingham.

We are looking for a practical, organised and outward-looking coordinator who can make people feel welcome while managing space, competing priorities and detail confidently. Candidates do not need to have worked in a cinema or gallery, but they should be able to show relevant experience from community, cultural, venue, events, hospitality, charity or comparable settings.

We’re keen to hear from you if you have experience of coordinating events, venue bookings, community activity, exhibitions, projects or other work involving several people, deadlines and practical arrangements. You should also have experience of communicating professionally with a varied range of people, and understand the barriers that can prevent people from accessing cultural or community spaces, along with practical ways to make participation more inclusive.

Strong organisation and administration skills are a must, along with a clear, warm and professional communication style; and a collaborative approach to working with our clients, and internally with colleagues across the Broadway departments.
