Calling all adventure lovers! The award-winning Kendal Mountain Festival is back on the road with its UK tour. Join us for an evening packed full of amazing films and awe-inspiring talks from some of the world's most impressive adventurers. Enjoy the spirit and inspiration of the festival, and celebrate the exploration of some of the wildest places on earth.
We'll be joined by James Glancy, a passionate wildlife conservationist and keen adventure sportsman who has spent his life outdoors in wild and hostile places. James is now taking his passion in to television, filming and presenting. He recently featured on BBC2's Curious Creatures and as a host on Discovery Channel's show 'SharkWrecked', during Shark Week 2018.
Plus hear from the adventurer, mountain runner and endurance cyclist Jenny Tough. In 2018, Jenny cycled across Spain and got 14 punctures; cycled across France with the @adventuresynd, got school kids out on their bikes through #matchthemiles, raced the 2500km TransAtlanticWay through Ireland and the Silk Road Mountain Race, and also ran 600km in 17 days across the Bolivian Andes.
The evening will be presented by Festival Director Steve Scott and we will screen some of the festival's most loved adventure films.
