Georges is going through something. Now separated from his wife, he decides to use his entire life’s savings to buy the deerskin jacket of his dreams. To Georges, this is no ordinary jacket. He has entire conversations with it, and soon fantasises he is the only man allowed to wear a jacket in the world. After pretending to local bartender Denise that he is a filmmaker, Georges convinces her to fund a made-up project so he can acquire yet more deerskin and make his ultimate fantasy come true. From the delightfully unpredictable mind of Quentin Dupieux comes this mad, unnerving, hilarious and highly entertaining black comedy about a man whose love for his jacket grows so big, he’ll stop at nothing – absolutely nothing – to protect it.
