FAQs

Updated Monday 24 January 2022

What are your opening hours?

We're currently open seven days a week, Monday to Sunday. Our current opening hours are 12pm until 10.30pm, however, this may vary slightly with the film programme so please check screening times to plan your visit. Our Box Office phone lines open at midday daily too.

What safety procedures have you introduced?

We've outlined our safety measures here. They include staggered screening times, hand sanitising stations, increased cleaning throughout the day, the use of masks when moving around the building, signage for social distancing around the building, and one empty seat between each booking in our screens.

What about face coverings?

We encourage you to continue to wear a mask when moving around the building. You may remove your face covering when you're seated in our Café Bars or screens.

Are you serving food and drinks?

Yes! We're serving our refreshed food menu and a range of alcoholic and soft drinks. Tables are available on a walk-in only basis - we don't take table bookings for our Café Bar, so please allow plenty of time to eat before your film and simply choose a table when you arrive.

If you'd like to take drinks into a screen for a film, we recommend pre-ordering them when booking your cinema tickets online - you'll find them on the next page once you've selected your seats. You can also order in the traditional way at the bar if you prefer - please arrive in plenty of time before your film starts to do so.

How does social distancing affect seating?

From Friday 28 January 2022, we'll be returning to 100% capacity in our screens. We will retain allocated seating so customers can view an up-to-date layout of each screen and choose your preferred seats when booking. For further information please visit our Keeping You Safe information page.

Can I buy tickets at the Box Office?

Yes, although we always advise booking tickets online in advance. Cashless payments are also preferred if possible.

How can I get in contact with you?

If you need help with a booking or membership, please email info@broadway.org.uk and a member of the team will get back to you. You can also call our Box Office on 0115 952 66 00 - please note, our Box Office team may be busy as we get audiences in and out of screens throughout the day, but we will answer your call as soon as we can. For more general information, you can also get in touch with us via social media.

Has your refund policy changed?

We always try to be as flexible as possible with your booking, and so if you're no longer able to attend due to illness, having to self-isolate or any new travel restrictions, please contact us to speak to our Box Office team. We just ask that you give us as much notice as possible. During this challenging time for cinemas, we would be very grateful if you would consider donating the price of your ticket/s if you're no longer able to attend at short notice and have the means to do so, or alternatively consider accepting a credit note to visit us at a later date. Please do not travel to us if you have any COVID symptoms.

Where are your monthly brochures?

We're no longer posting out our monthly brochure, but have printed copies available to pick up in our foyer and a digital version can be found online too. Our website and weekly newsletters via email also provide up-to-date film listings.

What can I do to support Broadway during this time?

There are lots of ways to support us, including buying a Membership, Gift Vouchers, Seat Dedications or making a one-off or regular donation. Thank you!
