Paa Joe - Dead not buried

Documentary filmmaker Benjamin Wigley, who is based at Broadway, is currently making a documentary film about ambition and legacy that sees a pioneer of the fantasy coffin trade seek success in the contemporary art world in a bid to save his livelihood.

As part of the film's production Benjamin and producer Anna Griffin are taking part in a documentary campus school in Munich in March. You can read all about their experiences in the blog below.

DOC CAMPUS AWARDS

Mark Atkin, Super Man of the Doc Campus, had some more awards to hand out at the end of the day.  And the winners are:

  • Giuseppe Bucciarelli wins the Staying Alive award for rupturing his internal organs from landing onto a tripod from a height and STILL handing his trailer in on time.
  • Maren Ruhstorfer wins the You Can Knock Me Down But I’ll Get Right Back Up again award.  Changing projects half way through the campus, Maren’s come back with an incredible project and an amazing pitch.
  • Gunnar Walther wins The Last Man Standing award.  He’ll be the last on the dance floor and the last at any festival.  This guy’s got stamina!
  • Maximilian Leo wins Star Pupil award.  Max has given great advice and insight into all our projects.  His energy never waned.  Thank you, Max.
  • Sinae Ha wins You’ve Come A Long Way award.  Most traveled participant on the course and winner of Best Pitch.  Well done Sinea Ha!!!
