Public screening for Broadway’s fifth BFI Film Academy

Broadway is proud to present a free screening of three short films produced by the participants of the fifth BFI Film Academy on Friday 24 March at 7PM.

Featuring local professional actors and shot using industry standard equipment, Cheapskate, Baby and Tuna on Wednesdays were all written and produced by the 18 young aspiring filmmakers taking part in the programme.

The screening will be an opportunity to discover the three short films and meet the young talented directors, producers and writers behind them.

The fifth BFI Film Academy delivered by Broadway took place between October 2016 and February 2017. Eighteen young people aged 16-19 took part in an intensive “Experience Film” programme involving 124 hours of activity, which included practical filmmaking and developing an understanding of film theory, the film industry, and the production of short films.
