According to our friends at Wikipedia, a festival is an event, usually staged by a local community, which celebrates some unique aspect of that community.
At Broadway we stage festivals created by local people throughout the year. Mayhem, our Horror Festival, comes around every Halloween and is programmed by a crack team of Nottingham-based filmmakers and horror aficionados. Our annual Short Film Festival, Bang! showcases the best shorts from around the region, from children to professional filmmakers and animators.
