Featuring the caricature puppets of Peter Fluck and Roger Law, Spitting Image first appeared in 1984 and soon became one of the most watched TV series of the era, reaching a peak-audience of over 15 million. With its legendary depictions of Margaret Thatcher, Ronald Reagan, the Royal Family and many others, Spitting Image re-defined satire for the modern era and launched the careers of many well-known actors and writers. For this special event, there will be a screening of Arena: Whatever Happened To Spitting Image? followed by a panel comprising writer Pete Sinclair, composer Philip Pope and actor and impressionist Steve Nallon.
