Cast: Allison Williams, Daniel Kaluuya

Country: US
Year: 2017
Duration: 104m

Young photographer Chris, is heading upstate with his girlfriend Rose to meet her parents. He is anxious that she hasn't made them aware he is black. There, he finds Rose's family to be overly friendly but reads it as their attempt to deal with their daughter's interracial relationship. But things get more and more bizarre as the weekend unfolds, with unsettling servants, and disconcerting party guests. The atmosphere soon turns from awkward to ominous, and a series of disturbing discoveries lead Chris to a truth that he could have never imagined. Part social satire, part horror and part psychological thriller, GET OUT is one of the most important films of the year and a chilling and thought-provoking look at post-Obama America.

"Blending race-savy satire with horror to especially potent effect, this bombshell social critique from first-time director Jordan Peele proves positively fearless - which is not at all the same thing as scareless." - Variety
