DECASIA director Bill Morrison’s latest film depicts the history of a Canadian gold rush town and how a First Nation hunting camp was transformed and displaced by chronicling the life cycle of a singular film collection – 533 rare nitrate stock films from the 1910s and 1920s, lost for over 50 years, until discovered buried in a sub-arctic swimming pool.
