I must admit, I did arrive with very low expectations of Paul but surprisingly it turned out to be quite funny and filled with sci-fi references that I was definitely sad enough to understand. Yes, it wasn't as good as Hot Fuzz or Shaun of the Dead, but it still managed to entertain me.
