A stunning debut from a major new talent.

Dolph Lundgren knows not killing it is the best way to kill it in the film Don't Kill It.

A mind bending mix of noir styled detective story, mind-bending mystery and warped character study - this is refreshing, low budget and independently minded British cinema at its best. Supported by producer Ben Wheatley we need more cinema like this.

Every fans favourite Jar Jar Binks returns as the best Gungan ever robbing The Force from Luke Skywalkers house while he was sleeping - look out for bad space pirate Han Solo. All of the toys, (the tall bear, the bun-headed princess, the robot butler) from Lego Star Wars to everything on display at Argos are up on the big screen where they belong in time for buying them before Christmas.

Incredibly rare chance to enjoy unique cinema - Ethiopian cinemas first foray into science fiction is as strange as anything Jodorowsky could make and as beautiful as anything Tarkovsky could have filmed.

STONE is mad - it's got a huge motorcycle funeral with extras supplied by the Hell's Angels and one of the most dangerous cliff jumps ever filmed. It's Ozploitation at the very best.

PSYCHOMANIA is madder still - frog worshipping Beryl Reid inspiring biker son to suicidal immortality.

The maddest double bill in the whole world EVER!

Charming comedy of manners, The Human Centipede screened at Broadway to rave reviews, the film was followed by sentimental, warm hearted The Human Centipede 2, which the BBFC rated very highly. Now the fun-packed third instalment of the ultimate buddy-comedy is with us, at last!
Warning: extreme content!

A real breakthrough for the director and a film that marked a cross-over between the Australian New Wave's fascination with both costume drama (which would eventually consume the British New Wave) and genre.

Avatar

It's a solid supernatural cop investigating devil worship/satanism in a small town crossed with a lycanthropic werewolf pic about coming to terms with alcoholism type story.

We screened this at Mayhem Film Festival last year, with special guest Caradog James and producer John Giwa-Amu and it was one of the great hits of the festival: cool, compassionate and well designed. The reviews following the festival screening were excellent:

"Sleek and stylish..." Left Lion

"The film asks some important questions regarding the ethics and dangers of creating AI, and creates a believable future, along with some superb effects on its miniscule budget." Starburst

"The unexpected highlight of the festival... " Fanboy Confidential

A great film - part psychological drama, part horror story, a weird and brilliant idea realised by the brilliant Jerzy Skolimowski (Deep End) with a score by one half of Genesis... it's essential cult cinema and a piece of British filmmaking to rival the best of Nic Roeg (Don't Look Now).

"...it starts raining blood because, you know, global warming, and suddenly the sky fills with resurrected prehistoric eagles (which look remarkably like regular eagles) out for revenge. Oh, and there are zombies." http://twogeeksoneblog.com/2013/04/07/relapsing-birdemic-2-the-resurrecti..

FRANKENHOOKER - at one time this film came in a snazzy VHS box that, when pressed, uttered the immortal line from the film: "wanna date?". A weird and wonderful homage to the grindhouse flea pits of 42nd Street, a now lost era, and of course Mary Shelley's classic instruction manual on how to make monsters and such like from the olden times. Frankenhooker, from the man behind BASKET CASE, BRAIN DAMAGE and BAD BIOLOGY (which screened at Mayhem a few years ago) Frank Henenlotter, a master of crude comedy, inventive storytelling and a radical perspective on the genre is a master of spoof, send-up and shock! Starring James Lorinz (STREET TRASH, also screened at Mayhem a couple of years back)in a truly hysterical performance. See this genuine cult classic on the big screen where you can marvel at super-crack explosions, vengeful pimps, mad science at it's maddest and the brilliant Patty Mullen as Frankenhooker herself.

"Try not to lose your head over Frank Henenlotter's gleefully absurdist Frankenhooker." Slant magazine

I will try and go to one of them if i have the dollar. Horror films are always fun.

One of the most controversial drama's the BBC ever made - really loved this when I first saw it and the BBC have promised NEVER to screen it again, so come along to Broadway and see it with the man who created all the fuss, writer Stephen Volk. It's still scary and always fascinating. One of the very best modern ghost stories.

Mayhem film festival! Loads of guests and a good atmosphere for horror fans across the whole five days... 27th oct - 31st...
