Photographs
taken by soldiers in Abu Ghraib prison changed the war in Iraq and
changed America's image of itself. Using the notorious photographs
of prisoner abuse and interviews with the soldiers who were directly
implicated in the scandal, S.O.P. takes the viewer to an uneasy
place, where the distinction between "Standard Operating Procedures"
and "Criminal Acts" become shrouded by ambiguity.
